Offensive Player of the Week:  Miami WR David Frazier

Miami senior wide receiver David Frazier (Columbia, S.C.) had five catches and a career-high 162 yards receiving as the RedHawks nearly pulled off the upset over in-state rival Cincinnati in a 31-24 loss. The senior added a career-high two touchdowns, his first multi touchdown performance of his career. Frazier opened the game with a 23-yard touchdown grab from Andrew Hendrix and added a 74-yard score in the third quarter, the longest reception of his career.

Defensive Player of the Week:  Ohio LB Quentin Poling
Ohio redshirt freshman linebacker Quentin Poling (Spencerville, Ohio) led the defense for the Bobcats in a 36-24 win over Idaho with 14 tackles and three interceptions for 77 yards. It was the first time a Bobcat player recorded three interceptions in a game since Tevell Jones did so in 1997 against Bowling Green.

Special Teams Player of the Week:  Bowling Green P Joe Davidson
Bowling Green redshirt freshman Joe Davidson (Findlay, Ohio) punted a career-high 11 times, averaging 45.1 yards per punt in a 68-17 loss at Wisconsin. Davidson set a career-high with a 57-yard punt in the game, and also had one downed inside the 20-yard line.

West Division
Offensive Player of the Week:  Western Michigan RB Jarvion Franklin

Western Michigan freshman running back Jarvion Franklin (Tinley Park, Ill.) rushed for 168 yards on 30 carries and three touchdowns in a 45-14 win over Murray State. For the third straight game Franklin rushed for three touchdowns and for over a 100 yards and became the first Bronco since Robert Sanford (1997) to run for three 100-yard games as a freshman. He had touchdown runs of 7 yards, 22 yards and 13 yards and now has nine rushing touchdowns on the season, one less than the entire Bronco team had last season.

Central Michigan senior linebacker Justin Cherocci (Rochester Hills, Mich.) had a career-best 18 tackles, including 12 solo tackles, in a 24-10 loss at Kansas. His 18 tackles match the season-best by a MAC player this year. The senior linebacker also had a sack and a forced fumble.
